Bloody hell...
Just to put things into perspective, it's hard for a new CD to sell that amount in the first WEEK in the US. A new CD with an "installed userbase" of a couple hundred millions in the US (i take it almost everyone has Cd players there, more or less). DS has a userbase of what, bit more than 4 million units?
I think that says a lot about videogames, and the videogame market today, those are crazy sales figures and it's been like this for a while.
Can't wait till the day everyone wakes up and realises that videogames are maybe the most widespread and profitable form of entertainment today, and pour some serious money into them, like they do with movies.
