2025 may not be kind to game developers

Wow Crytek only has 400 employees. It always amazes me to see that these studios are so small. Big firms regularly throw hundreds of highly paid engineers at bullshit software projects that are nowhere near the complexity of a game. Talk about inefficient allocation of resources.
 
Why is WB testing concepts with AAA budgets while not green lighting a new AAA Arkham game?

Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights should have been AA experiments.

Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights should have been AA experiments.
Spend much more money on live service games where the potential is 10x, 100x return on investment from massive ongoing transactions instead of hoping to break even.
