Hmm... Peter Hofstee.. IBM... cough... cough... Cell... welcome to the world of physics computing (or how it's called ?). In other words, the GPU and CPU are shifting around both data and calculations, so instead of one-way traffic (CPU to GPU) you get an exchange of data.
