Windows 11 [2021]

Wintoys is the only free app that I have really managed to improve Windows performance with (article below uses google translator)

Improve the performance of your Windows computer using the amazing free tool from Wintoys. This program really works to increase the speed of your PC.

Having performance issues is one of the things that can happen on any Windows computer . Over time, with so many applications and features, it may become slower and slower .

Although there are currently many programs dedicated to optimizing the operating system , not all of them deliver what they promise.

This is where Wintoys makes its way as a reliable option to significantly increase the efficiency of the device without having advanced technical knowledge .

Do you want to learn how to use this tool? If so, you are in the right place, because in this article you will see why it is so highly recommended and how its features are used .

Wintoys is one of the best options because you can find it available from the Microsoft Store .

Therefore, to download and install it you just have to access the corresponding page and press the install button .

Automatically, when the installation is complete, Wintoys will generate a shortcut on the desktop and you can even run it from the Microsoft Store itself.

Wintoys is like an application that includes all the customization and system settings of the device , but in a more intuitive way.

In order for this platform to be useful to you when you require an increase in performance on your Windows computer , it is necessary to configure it with the appropriate parameters .

In this case, it is recommended that you access the Health section and activate the Fast Boot, Hibernation, Hard Drive Optimization and Storage Sensor options .

At the same time, in this section you have the ability to generate a Battery Report to determine if it is working properly .

In the Repair feature , there are some options that allow you to restore the functioning of applications and functions.

In fact, they are Command Prompt commands like DISM , SFC , and CHDSK . With a simple click, you can run them without using the console .

On the other hand, there are other options such as Memory Diagnostics and Cleaning methods , as well as System Updates or Application Updates .

Now, to optimize your PC to the maximum, you have to make use of various parameters of the application.

In the performance section, you need to check the box for Maximum Performance and VBS (virtualization-based security) .

Another thing that can make a big difference is disabling programs that run when Windows starts .

Sometimes, there are too many apps running at startup that make the device slow from the moment you turn it on. For this reason, when you access Startup Apps , you have to uncheck the boxes of non-primary platforms .

Once you do the above, if you feel that your computer or laptop is still too slow , it is best to disable the Background Apps feature , at least until you can resolve this issue.

Last but not least, to get the most out of your components in video games , you need to enable Game Mode and Superfetch in Game Settings .

Using each of these features is sure to greatly improve your OS operations, whether you're using Windows 10 or Windows 11 .

Thanks! Will definitely give it a try since you're recommending it. :)

thanks digi. I use it 'cos it's easy to use and it just tweaks a few little but important details. It's better than using a modified version of Windows which has a lot of features removed.

I used one of those Windows "lite" OSes on my nVME drive where I had my games installed, 'cos I used those 2TB as a gaming partition, and some games didn't run whereas on my non modified productivity partition on a SSD those games ran well.

update: don't use it... I was happily using it, the most basic options, but went a bit too deep and now I can't open like half of my apps or more.

I get this message from many vital apps that aren't working for me now.

"the service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it".

The thing is that the solutions to fix it don't work 'cos those programs won't run lol.

Thanks for the heads up! Hadn't gotten around to installing it and now won't. Hope you can recover your install!

I had to make a windows reset using the pendrive with which I installed Windows 11. Not fun, especially taking into account that I had W11 super optimised before. I know which steps I took but setting the email account, vsc, sdks here and there is a pita.
