If it's so similar in size it's definitely not using 6nm. Max 5nm.Voici le nom, le design de la nouvelle console de PlayStation avec plein d'autres détails inédits

Apparently similar to current slim with 2 usb c on front. Possible only digital version + separate blueray.
Or maybe it's going to be very noisy. The cooler in the original PS5 was very oversized, and probably could have dissipated another 70-100 watts or so.If it's so similar in size it's definitely not using 6nm. Max 5nm.
This was the easiest speculation guess of all time. AMD doesn't have any other tech. The only interesting thing about this console will be what Sony can deliver WRT reconstruction.PS5 PRO is around 7700XT level in raster, faster in RT.
Yeah, you add 45% in raster to a 6700 and you get a 7700XT. It's just confirmation. I'm sure some people are going to be disappointed, but as long as it can do 1080p to 4k with PSSR actually being good, it's going to be a great upgrade. This was the easiest speculation guess of all time. We already know that it has dedicated ML hardware, 300 tops INT8 (with sparsity enabled or not?)yeah the most interesting thing will be if there is any dedicated hardware for their PSSR tech.
Cleaner and sharper visuals in games which likely bottomed out at some very low internal resolutions on the OG PS5. PSSR means better image stability with less breakup and other artifacts caused by other reconstruction solutions. It also means more stable target framerates. And finally, it means better RT effects which are more detailed and sharper, including being traced against more geometry at higher details. What does PS5 Pro being close to 7700 XT mean for graphics?
That you can expect a small increase in resolution or settings. 720p performance modes could become 900p. 1080p/1440p quality modes could up the settings a bit. What does PS5 Pro being close to 7700 XT mean for graphics?
with PSSR it could be game changer in games strongly using fsr2 from low internal resolutions like Wukong, Starwars Outlaws etcWhat does PS5 Pro being close to 7700 XT mean for graphics?
I'm sure there are people out there that believe this unironicallyyou can expect path tracing at 120fps in VR for GT7 i think.
So graphic wise games will look better?with PSSR it could be game changer in games strongly using fsr2 from low internal resolutions like Wukong, Starwars Outlaws etc
But will the graphics look better than the base PS5 tho?Cleaner and sharper visuals in games which likely bottomed out at some very low internal resolutions on the OG PS5. Of course. Just don't expect miracles, like path tracing in many games or something. It's still a PS5.But will the graphics look better than the base PS5 tho?
