Best looking character models on consoles

Like the title says, what character models do you consider impressive for this generation? The only rule is to avoid scenes that add extra graphical effects in cutscenes, unless it is only stage lighting as most games do this. My main choice would be Batman: Arkham Knight. The amount of detail is insane, the polygon count for batman and scarecrow must be really high. The characters really do look like that during gameplay.

uncharte d4, and there's a bunch of close of photos on U4's gameplay thread. including close ups of nate's hands, big brother's arm hair, etc.

Nates model in Uncharted 4 is very detailed and looks good from any distance, various shots:

Nate looks real good but Kratos definitely looks more impressive now. Here's some compressed shots from Gamersyde feed.

Don't agree, skin shading is not up to U4s best imo, the kid doesn't hold up to young Nate or Sam either.

With that said, it's still probably a year + till release so they have plenty of time to polish things up, although i still haven't seen any game at E3 matching whatever ND is doing with shading of their character models in real-time.

But these UC4 shots are cutscene quality tho, we know it has better shader and lighting during cutscenes don't we? GOW's shader and lighting looked the same for both gameplay and cutscene tho. A grey skinned dude might also appear to be less realistic than a normal skinned Drake I suppose.

Do we really need yet another thread full with super large UC4 images? I think we've all seen quite enough of those characters by now, from every possible angle and in every possible light condition...

Spoiler tagged them. And I know we did, but when a comparison is brought up it's better to show rather than talk imo.

Not enough Elena.

Uncharted 4 doesn't look as good as the cutscenes 90% of the time:

This is realtime gameplay:

I never understood how real time cut scenes to gameplay transitions work in Uncharted. The real time cut scenes look spectacularly good and the game often transitions to gameplay seamlessly. For example the camera might move to Nathan's back and the game gives you control. But at the same very moment if we take the camera to his face and zoom to see the details we see that the superb lighting and shading at that very spot where everything worked so well is gone.

I've noticed right after the cutscene ends where the gameplay transition begins, the engine turns off the character lighting, either a spotlight or something else. It's done in a very subtle way thus hard to detect in motion but if you really pay attention it becomes noticeable. But that said there are also areas where gameplay shots of Nate look superb when the stars are aligned. But if anything Kratos seems to be far more consistent in gameplay quality.

maybe GOW4 does the same for closeups we don't know yet, only a closeup with a photo mode when we have control of Kratos will answer this.

Uhmm, kratos looks very realistic, the kid looks stylized, and probably for good reason if this is like any other GoW game a too realistic kid could push it with censors, garner negative social media, and might even up the rating past mature.
