Though I agree with your sentiments, remember to invlude TAX in calculations. Assuming EU countries have their local Sales/VAT tax included, you're looking at an extra 15-25% on top of the dollar price. $400 with average EU tax would be something like $480. Seems fair and reasonable. Games this gen already cost 55-62€ ($67.5-76) in Europe, and I don't expect them to drop the prices.
For games I tend to buy from Play.com at £30 tops = €45 (BTW : How do you get a Euro sign with copy/pasting someone else's?!)
