So it isn't an apples to apples comparision, Resistance 2 is a much better corollary to Halo 3 in this respect.

Resistance 2 isn't even out yet. Perhaps we should wait for that to happen before we start comparing it.

From what I've see so far it looks pretty promising, visually at least.

And besides that, it's going to be about a year between releases. Hardly a comparison to be made.

This has been going on long enough... We generally don't encourage system vs. system discussions as they usually make for an intelligent discussion (especially in the tech forum, where this thread originated from, I gather).
As for my 2 cents on the discussion going on here: The OP would be very well advised to check up on a few of the resources and to use this board's search feature...
