OK, clearly X360 has native HD video output modes (480p, 720p, 1080i etc). I'm currently running a 19" LCD (5:4) which obviously does not support the HD resolution/ascpect ratio and thus the image has to be rescaled, seemingly loosing a great deal of image quality (for my liking) in the process...
While the above is accepted, the odd thing is DoA4 is about the only game that I've played so far that looks *great* on my monitor @ 1280*1024. Crisp quality, very little aliasing AFAI can tell. Are Temco the only 360 devs that remember us non-HD users? At the end of the day, do I need a HD-clarified monitor to enjoy the visuals that all other 360 games have to offer?
All thoughts welcome, thanks.
