I recently noticed that my desktop PC wouldn't recover properly from S3 standby anymore, resulting in a complete freeze-up and the need to reset/reboot the computer.
My first thought was faulty hardware, so I unplugged all peripherals, without success.
I then rolled back recent driver updates and tested inbetween, such as NIC, Saitek peripheral and even graphics (NV) drivers and eventually the X-Fi beta drivers dated June 2.
That finally fixed it. I updated the rest of the drivers again and everything's back in working order now.
I thought I'd post this in case someone encounters similar problems.
PS: Forgot to mention: My board is a P35 and WinXP SP3 is installed.
