WOW!!! BATMAN ROCKED!!!

Ahem, we have a few "sequels" to this movie already. At what point in time should the story continue? Dunno...

Those aren't sequels. Batman Begins is a complete restart of the Batman movie franchise. It's as if the first 4 Batman movies never happened. Just like it should be. They're talking about a 2008 release date for Batman Begins 2. Next year is for Superman Returns and Warner Brothers doesn't want to launch the same year(2007) as Marvel's Spiderman 3 and Wolverine.

Hey hey , batman the movie was damn good and even the second one was not bad . After micheal keaton left things got really bad

IMHO the only highlight of the second one was Michelle Pfeiffer, the mivie sucked SOOOOOO BADLY! Awful piece of crap.

Yes, the first one wasn't too bad. It was my first real intro to Batman. That's all I talked about that year. ;) However, since then I learned who Batman really was through reading the comics and realized that even the first Batman movies didn't get it right. By the time Batman Forever released I understood those was were the only kind of movies Warner Brothers was offering. Were they right? Nope not at all, but that was all there was and liked what I got. LOL That was till Batman & Robin made me cringe and sink me in my seat watching it. Thank God it was as bad as it was or we would have never gotten Batman Begins. Hehe ;)

Depends on what you mean. The batman of the first movie was pretty close to the batman of the comics a few year prior . Very dark very alone . This was around the time of jason todds death .

Then they started to lighten him up with tim drake in the mid 90s

Yes, it was darker than latter attempts, but IMHO Tim Burton's Batman wasn't as dark as the comics. More like really wierd Tim Burton style. LOL Plus, they didn't even get his parents story right. It wasn't the Joker that killed his parents, it was Joe Chill. Joker's name is unknown, not Jack Napier. Joker isn't an old, short and out of shape man. And Batman didn't create him either.

I don't know about you, but that's still not "pretty close" to the comics. ;)

Actually batman doesn't know who killed his parents. Its been hinted at that its the joker but its often hinted at as another party.

Joe chill isn't his parents killer and there was no trial . Batman begins doesn't get it right either .

Actually it looks like you're right, but that's evidently due to the comics changing continuity once again since I quit reading them years ago. When I was reading them, Joe Chill had consistently been the killer of Bruce's parents. So in that regard, IMHO it's a lot closer to the comics than the original Batman movie.

your wrong . It was for a story line where bruce was set up to think that and it later turned out to not be true .

It was about a year to a year and a half story line which is only 12-18 issues .
