Would someone please tell this woman to STFU!

So? She wants her father to have a fair trial.
I would hope SH gets a fair trial.

I could care less about what she said about the trial. Did you read the other crap that spewed from her mouth?

I hope SH gets a bullet between the eyes.

I wonder ByteMe - is it at all possible for you to make a comment within a thread without being either rude, offensive, very aggressive or provocative? :?

I tried reasoning with him. It doesn't work.

WHAT? You think my idea/wish for Saddam to get a bullet is a bad thing? I think I didn't really see that.

I will admit that even when I try, I SUCK at being PC.

It's not a question of what you think is a "bad thing"; it's how you put it across within the medium of a discussion board. My impression of you, which may be entirely wrong or entirely correct, is one of being egotistical, pro-machismo, jingoistic, etc and I have that impression simply because of the way you write your comments - like you I suck...but at being non-judgemental.

OK, ByteMe is "what he is". No surprise there.

Now, back to topic,

I really cannot believe some things she says during the interview. It would be coherent if she was loved by her father and treated like a daughter should be treated. NO! Saddam killed her husband and brother-in-law, then kept her captive for years until she ESCAPED from him!

And now she's trying to defend him and make him look respectable?

I mean, i agree he should be given a fair trial and that she is entitled to appoint whatever lawyers she wants, but the rest of her interview just makes me cringe.

People who love people are strange. - incoherent explanation

I believe she still loves Saddam because he is her father. Unconditional love.

Call it what you want, it's stupid. It's not rational. It's not on!

Without going into the killing-of-millions-thing, the guy killed her husband, the husband of her sister, jailed her and her sister for years. Even if she was very selfish and didn't care about the millions who have been suffering further to Saddam's actions, which i think is the case here anyway, he made HER life misery.

I don't get it. My brain just can't compute this situation. Just don't get it.

I prefer people concentrated on shutting Ann Coulter up.

Everytime she opens her ignorant mouth, she justifies blonde jokes.

Another classic gem from Her Retardedness:

Liberals would try to share in the joy over Saddam's capture, except they are so blue that we haven't let the French take over the United States yet.

What drives these people to obsess and claim world-domination conspiracies involving the French? If there is any one thing that's behind most of the problems in the world, it's not the French, or English, or Americans. Just plain old fashioned G-R-E-E-D.

Huh? The French? Did i miss anything? :|
I thought they were too busy disrespecting Human Rights in their own country to worry about foreign affairs... (This time i'm referring to Chirac's proposal to ban Muslim girls/women wearing a veil in schools and public places.... )

To be fair, they are wanting to ban all religious symbols so, in a sense, it should be offending all bar agnostics etc.

FWIW, in Turkey, headscarfs are not allowed in Universities (and probably schools as well).

I know, i read it today... "no veils, jewish headthingys and big crucifixes"

*pictures a kid going to school with a HUGE cross on his shoulders*

Fair enough, my impression of you, is one of being dictatorial, unimaginative, daffy. etc. The only group I've been openly hostile towards are the islamic extremists (sure I've throw in a few hacks for the french). Do you want me to apologize for not being polite to them? This place is somewhat of a heaven for otherwise sexualy oriented people (and other groups). I don't have a problem with any of those groups.
I will argue with the "liberals" ( USA type), but this does not mean I hate them, they are allowed their view.

This would be better in PM I think.

Wow, she's actually somewhat hot.

I wonder if the old man would be angry if I approached her? Eh? Ehhhh? :)

The reason many Mid-East women look ugly to Westerners is that they are not afforded the luxury of sitting in front of a mirror for 30 minutes in the morning. That - and the whole living on the brink of death thing. I assure you M.E. girls in America, to me at least, look better to me on average than white, black, or asian women. But that's just my bias showing through. :p

As for her "strange" behavior remember all is not always as it appears. It's equally likely that her father ordered her to marry that man (notice how all of Saddam's sons-in-law were very high ranking Iraqi officials) to keep an eye on him, and that he was executed based on intel. gathered by his wife. Or something even wierder is going on.

Simon F: Yes you are correct, the hijab is banned in all government offices. I also have it on first hand knowledge that a crucifix in a school can lead to hard time.

Why almost all terrorists/groups etc talk about fair trials/human rights etc only when they "themselves" are caught?? Suddenly they remember about Amnestly Int, Redcross, Geneva conventions......SOBs!

I can't believe the discrimination of this thread

Such politically incorrect threads don't belong on a forum like beyond3d. The topic says
Would someone please tell this woman to STFU!
that is soo sexist :)

If you can't tell I am joking around
