Wiimote vs Sixaxis Video

Games like Resistance can benefit as well. I doubt the SIXAXIS can emulate the Wii just like it is used in Red Steel though

Hmm? I dont know if we are talking about the same thing. I am not refering to a cursor on screen similar to Windows which you move on screen through an analog stick instead of a mouse.
I think that is irrelevant.

I am refering to a usage similar to the one found in Red Steel. Which I find impossible with the SIXAXIS to work well.
1)Unlike wii you are holding the controller with both hands so its impractical to twist both of your hands horizontally to aim horizontally (warhawk, lair etc steered through vertical twists)

2)Its hard to aim, and you have to almost guess the position of the "gun" for example. With Wii you point the controller on screen and you directly know thats where you are going to shoot. With the SIXAXIS you arent pointing on screen. You have to guess how much you have to turn the controller towards a certain direction. Even worse there is nothing to measure up the angle and distance. With Wii you just know the limit is the screen/bar
You don't hold the Remote and "aim down the sights" to play Red Steel, but the movements of the reticle are sync'ed with the movement of the controller in your hand. You could be pointing straight at the very edge of your screen and the reticle could be halfway between the center and the edge. They're synchronized, but not necessarily in line of sight. So if it's possible to play without the Remote actually pointing at what you're shooting, why wouldn't it be possible to do the same with the Sixaxis or with the Remote sans Sensor Bar? You don't put your mouse on the screen to move your character around on a computer monitor. It's the first movements of the mouse that gets you oriented and you coordinate your movements pretty much instantly without having to think about it.

It doesn't really work like that:
http://computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=147981
the "pointer" function doesn't actually make the cursor go where the front of the Wii Remote is aiming like it would with a lightgun
Pointing and motion-sensing are diferent things, there is nothing comparable, to the pointing of the wii controler, in the six-axis controler. Pointing is not motion based.
