Your what came with one?

A limited number of 360 premiums came with crippled remotes but that practice ended pretty quick as far as I know.

My 360, what else? I guess you could call it crippled... it doesn't have quite all the features of the sold-separately remote I've seen, but I can do the stuff that I'd want to do with a remote (i.e. watch movies, navigate menus, stream media from the PC) just fine. If I wanted to do more I'd surely go to a standard universal such as Harmony or TheaterMaster.
