I'm getting seriously pissed at the current chairman of the EU parlament, Silvio Berlusconi. Basically he just happened to become the EU chairman for this half year due to a rolling scheme over the member countries is being used rather than democratic election and Italy where he is prime minister happened to be next. He's basically a maffia guy that slipped through the legal system in Italy by changing the law to make the top five government positions immune against prosecution. He's slinging endless insults around calling other members of parlament nazis or communists whenever he's criticized or even just at random times. The legal process against him, which he so gracefully dodged, gets it's dose too. Italian judges are apparently "anthropologically diverse from the rest of humanity" according to him, just because they unlike him don't seem to like bribery crimes. Everything that's not supporting him or his position is just a left-win conspiracy.
Meanwhile he's trying the hardest he can to get the EU constitution passed during his time in office so that he can shave in some credit for getting this historical things through. However, pretty much everyone else thinks that something as important as a constitions should not be hurried and not be set in stone after this short time. Basically, noone in the EU likes him, and people just try to not go crazy until he leaves his position at the end of the year and it seems likely right now that the way the chairman of the EU is choosen should be changed to a voting process rather than a rolling scheme to avoid something like this in the future.

Basically, he's competing quite well with Bush about being the worst leader at this time. Question is, who's worse?

Bush.

Dare I make the comparison of Berlusconi to Bush as Mussolini was to Hitler?

jk ofcourse.

But really, in the macro view of things, Berlusconi is pretty small-time.
