My apologies for such a lengthy title but I wanted to know if it was necessary to reinstall Cat drivers if you upgrade from a dual core CPU to a quad core CPU? Do cat drivers have specific optimizations for a quad vs dual core?
I can't think of a reason why it should be neccessary. You might as well hold off with the reinstall until a natural time to update your drivers comes along (I heard the .6 revision was just released the other day, so maybe they're worth a try?)
