Canada also has 11 holidays but I dont see the problem with health care as health care workers are not affected by holidays or vacations... If there is an emergency its just a matter of recalling workers which was the issue this summer and not the fact they were on vacation... but of course not every emergency will be placated by that alone.

Doing this will have no bearing on the next heat wave. It will make it more possible of course for France to join the race to the bottom if that is what it wishes to do. Its about lowering tax revenue to make way for tax breaks...

Nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy life instead of wasting it with another crap like work Problems is that you need money, a shit load of money to do anything. Didn't read the link (I'm too lazy), but from what I heard I think it's to pay for the ever increasing cost of healtcare (for old geezers who died because it was too dawn hot and they were too stupid to cool themself, what I will be in too few years, I mean an old geezer, I'm already stupid), but just removing a holiday won't be enough, there's a lot more fat to cut, but that's not easy to do if you don't want to get kill by the fat ones. Faq is, peoples just want an easy life (who wouldn't understand that), but only a few lucky ones trully gets that

Democoder just like to critic and make fun of other countries (tho france is an easy target 8) ), which is fair since there's plenty of other people here who like to bash the US. Fact are, if you're rich or are trying to be, the US is the best, in other words it's pure darwinist, the weak die and the strong gets stronger, but if you're poor or try to stay alive, then Canada and Europe are better, that goes against the law of the jungle, tho.
