Actually more like 5 or 6 to 3 or 4 people I regularly exchange e-mails with who haven't responded in about a week and a half, two weeks now....I'm not quite so paranoid that I'd get fretting over just one.

Sounds like they are in a circle the wagon mode, you haven't posted anything recently at EB as news that should of pissed anyone off....At least not that I remember.

This is typicall for bilinear filtering (R420), at the end before first mipmap trans., the texture is always sharper, in stead off trilinear where the blending is kicking in from the beginning. The NV40, NV38 and R360 doiing correct tril. filtering.

WHY ARE COMPANIES SO DUMB THAT THEY ALWAYS UNDERESTIMATE EVERYTHING
Thats a Good Question.

Its to bad really. The X800 series in practice is turning out a bit like the 8500. X800 does have a few really powerfull wins though. As far as it being like the 8500.. I mean that the Drivers are really holding back teh performance at this point. which was also the case with the 8500. Thus they "hacked" some stuff for performance without telling anyone. Something similar seems to be happening here. Not that the method is a "hack" but the secrecy involved is a hack.

The X800XT and X800pro are simply not near the theoretical peaks they should be. Efficiency seems way down at this point.

I've honestly never leaked nothing Karlotta, I don't know what it is. :(

But for what it's worth, I'm in too...but I can't post up anything and it don't look like anyone else can either yet.
