There is cake: Portal 2

The funny thing about weight loss is that the whole principle really is to wait longer for food. Maybe hes standing in front of the fridge with a stop watch rather than making games because everyone tells him how fat he is.

It's 22nd for Euro rather than 18th or 20th because of the time difference compared to Oz and NA.

...Yeah, right, I don't get it either.

It seems that retailers' release dates are different in US and EU, so it comes from that. On Steam it should be available the same day though.

That Portal 2 bundle will include a special version of the game, that includes not only native support for the Hydra controllers, but new maps and puzzle mechanics built exclusively for Hydra.”

The device should, it seems, be released around April, the same time as Portal 2, for less than $100

J.K. Simmons to voice Aperture Science founder Cave Johnson in Portal 2:

Valve, in partnership with Aperture Science dba Aperture Laboratories, announced today the first of four "investment opportunity" videos leading up to the April 19th release of Aperture's documentary video game Portal 2.

The first video, titled "Panels", showcases one of the many lucrative products in development at the applied sciences company. Narrated by Aperture CEO and founder Cave Johnson, it offers a fascinating glimpse at the future of test environment construction.

J.K. Simmons is fuckin hilarious. He was in 2 episodes of Party Down and stole the show.

Maybe you already saw this, but Portal 2 is up for preload on Steam now, so if you pre-purchased the PC version (as opposed to the PS3 release where you get a free PC copy included with the purchase, but lose the preload ability) you may want to start yer engines...I know I sure have.

Steam download speed is completely rotten right now (~125kB/s) for me at least, not sure if that's because every man + dog is downloading almost ten gigabytes of Portal2 data, but considering how wanted this game is it doesn't sound out of the realm of possibilities... :)

I get only ~50KB/s here :(
I bought Borderland yesterday during the sale, and its download speed was also around 50KB/s, but later it became 900KB/s. But since it's only a preload I think as long as it's finished before the release date I'm satisfied :)

anyone know how the ps3 copy is set up. It comes with the pc verison. Is the pc verison just a code ? So i can buy the ps3 copy and use the pc code and then trade in the ps3 verison ?

Best buy is doing $45 xbox/ps and $35 for pc and if you preorder it as a reward zone member you get a $10 gift card after 35 days . So the pc verison is just $25 bucks and the others are $35. If its just a code for the pc verison i will get the ps3 verison and trade it in .

me too eager to know about the PS3 with pc bonus.

im considering pool money with friend. He play the PS3 ver, i play the PC ver.

You tie both versions to the same steam account I think, so I doubt you and your friend could play the game simultaneously.

And the PC version is likely just a download. You type an activation code into your Steam client on the PC (or Mac, I presume) and it then sucks it down over the internet. Bit crap for you if you're on a metered connection...or wanna play right away for that matter.
