The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt ! [XO, PS4, NX, PS5, XBSX|S, PC]

In his defence I must point out that he usually is wearing heavy armour and two swords, so it's not like he's falling with only his body weight to withstand.

Well, I'm using cat armor, so I'm light. Also doesn't explain bear farts, especially since the guy is basically immune to toxic substances.;)

I have a blue print for a lv 46 sword. No idea what the specifics are, though.

Yeah, I've got that one too (if it's the steel sword). You need to take to it Hatori to craft and then you'll get to see the stats. I only made it as far as lvl 35 before I finished so I never got chance to use any of the really mad weapons ( Hopefully DLC will cure that!

When you finish are you able to continue playing to solve unfinished quests?

Yes, CDPR have said you are free to mop up any missed/skipped quests and continue to squish monsters. Supposedly high level ones do spawn (and re-spawn) so you can continue to gain experience and levles, acquiring ability points right upto level 70.

As DSoup said. You can carry on mopping up nests and guarded treasures etc. More high level critters appear as well (wyverns, cyclopses etc). Having gotten into a bit of an argument with some guards on Skellige I am left wondering why they needed my help at all as they are all lvl 48+ and do crazy amounts of damage. Plus if you lose the fight you get docked 50% of your cash (15k crowns in the last one <lol>). Also there seems to be a few new quests appearing on notice boards and random encounters, though I may just have missed those the first time around.

Cool, did a very nice side quest in Novigrad with a serial killer type quest...I finally got him :)

Am lvl 18 now and tried out the alternative Yrden sign...this seems to be extremely strong!

I will focus on Quen and Yrden (and have already the light sword attacks).

I further habe this yellow ability where light armour boosts you, combines well with cat armour.

I also have the tier 2 mind control things...helps during a lot of conversations...

I've observed new contracts appearing on notice boards too.

Where can I cut Geralts beard?

edit - got it, in Oxenfurt. I'm still outside of it, having fun with various missions. Btu since my beard is getting out of control, I guess I will advance main storyline a bit to access barber.

I thought I got him too. Turns out I messed up and actually didn't get him at all.
Haha, me too. I presume this means I missed something so I look forward to revisiting this particular quest in my second play through. I thought I took my time and I always, always explore all of the lines of questioning during dialogue exchanges.

Hmmm..

I have the diagrams to get the upgraded cat armour stuff. But... Is there a quest like the Griffin set quest to start the Cat set quest? I have the diagrams, ok, but I also had the diagrams for the Griffin set but in addition to that a Griffin set quest appeared in the list. With the Cat set I don't see the quest anywhere.

Wow... level 70... I guess it will be useful in the expansions they are working on. I expect some level 70 monsters there, whatever they might be.

So what did you do with Keira? I...
sent her to Kaehr Morten
and out of a hunch...
I asked her for the papers, because I saw her so determined to share them that I didn't trust her
. I am sticking to my decisions, no matter how good or bad they are, but I think I did right in this one, cos I don't like Keira much, but I cared for her.

If you
let her have the papers
that's what happens. The decisions have some important consequences later on. (the previous spoilers can be opened if you completed the Keira quest, but the one below is quite revealing of certain consequences, I don't recommend opening it)

I made the same decisions as you. I sent her out of way (in Kaer Morhen) and took the research because I didn't believe should could overcome her curiosity, or not to do what she believed was right. She may well have been right and not letting her continue that research may have been a grave mistake.

If she had pushed it, I would have killed her.

That's what I like about the Witcher 3 - you never know how things will turn out.

I didn't look at your spoilers about the consequences of different decisions because I want to experience them myself in latter play throughs. This play through is entirely me doing what I think is the right based on what I know at the time.

I don't recommend you do that, the image is..oh well.. but there are consequences of apparently inane decisions that are more important later on than initially thought.

I want to make a first "wild" walkthrough, and see what happens, some decisions are so difficult. I wonder what will happen with (for those who completed my favourite quest, Towerful of Mice)
Annabelle, for instance, I am curious about her now, you know... if you did the same than me

She was inconsistent with her story but I gave her the benefit of the doubt given her ordeal and her time all alone, isolated in the tower surrounded by spirits she couldn't interact with. I took her bones back to Graham to bury and I did return to the island later (as part of the Peller quest) and visited the tower and there was no evidence that her spirit remained so job done. I hope!
