Halo 3 has come!

(BTW the motion blur in DOA4 is only seen in the still photograb mode)

So, team Halo is split now...they are fighting among themselves?

MC must be so happy to fight those "booby traps".

Nope they've changed it, it's now seen during powerful moves during gameplay.
Is there any movie or article with it? What I could find WRT it is only this from random posters at Xboxyde

I noticed in the Spartan pics that it looked like they were using motion blur + AA during gameplay shots--did they change their mind about this? Or was the effect just added for...effect?

I'm a fighting game nut, and I understand the concern about how motion blur could effect the game at it's highest level of play--but I've also always thought of DOA as atleast as much style as it has substance (in most cases, it oozes way more style than it has substance--atleast in the past)..I think it would be nice if they included the option to turn it on/off in gameplay. Not expecting it..just thought that it was odd to see it in what looked like gameplay shots--suppose they could have been from spectator mode.

Also--The newest Madden shots--are they using DOF and AA together finally? They looked pretty slick.

Motion blur is not during STANDARD gameplay. There is a camera blur mode that they use for all the pictures. Just download one of the videos. There is no blur. Blur only comes for a split second on certain high counter blows (when you interrupt someone who is trying to throw you, or hit them while they are in the air), so it never interferes with gameplay.

apparently this isthe last doa game ever.

Sad, because graphically, it could be mucho improved. It just looks like a hi-res better textured DOAX. We've got these extremely lovely ladies, who look so plastic because they couldn't bother to use a decent skin shader or skin textures? The skin of the girls looks practically phong shaded!

No soft shadows. Clothing dynamics still look previous gen.

This looks like a quick extension hacked up port of DOAX to make the XB360 launch schedule, rather than a true "from the ground up" engine for the XB360.

Anyway, I wonder if the Spartan has a bikini and school girl /kogal outfit? :)

Yes, there's an article or rather an interview. First Itagaki stated it wasn't going to be during gameplay. But then, in a later interview he states it's beeing tweeked so that it can be during gameplay, mainly after very powerful moves. Also if you look in these screenshots you see lifebars during the motion blur, which indicates during gameplay.

Funny the game DOA4 is not that impressive a leap over DOA3.

Yet whenever I see the spartan, it literally looks like CG come to life. It's more impressive than the other characters.

i think the game look better in motion and i thoguht the graphic is about right for the next gen first gen game, i hope the DOA5 will better than this since they have more time and knowledge about the system.

How can that be? What can they abondon their most milked series? It doesn't make any "financial" sense. It is like saying "Capcom says RE5 will be the last RE". :?:

whatever, with the skill they've shown making action games, and their graphical prowess, I can't wait to see what team ninja has brewing.

Good I'd rather have Team Ninja working on Action Games, there's enough fighting games out there already Xbox fans doni't need an exclusive one.
