Supposed GeForce 8800 info at PCshow

They seem to be hinting that NVidia "unified shaders" aren't dynamically balancing during rendering, but are statically partitioned somehow (I guess by assigning N tcps to VS, N tcps to GS, N tcps to PS) by the driver I would assume.

Where, the graph on page 2 or in the text? The graph could indicate typical workload just as well as non-dynamic balancing.
 
Account creation and posting for self-promotion isn't in the spirit of things around here, for releases that haven't yet happened. If you review it properly for/after launch then definitely come and post your link for all to see since that's the spirit, but don't just link to entirely repurposed speculation and leaked data, likely just to get some traffic from our forum users (as much as those users might love you to :LOL: ).
