I just got it on dvd (iwas 3$)

and clark is in highschool and runs past the train and the little girl says mommy i saw a guy running faster than the train.

They say " lois lane stop lieing"

Wtf is that all about ?

She is like 8 years old and he is in highschool about 16-17.

Then he goes to the city and she has a newspaper job ?

Wtf ?

well his father just died. and he was still in highschool so i dunno dude.

Thats kinda messed up. I know back in the 70s a 10 year age diffrence wasn't that uncommen. But i mean come on ....

i dont have access to the movie so can you check this scene and tell me if the 2 girls are the same (the one in the train and this one):

[Superman gets a cat out of a tree]
Superman: Here you go, miss.
Little girl: Gee, thanks, mister.
Superman: Well, good-bye, Frisky. So long, now.
[Flys off, turns and waves]
Superman: Bye.
Little girl: Bye.
[Goes inside]
Little girl: Mommy! Mommy! Frisky was stuck in the tree! This man swooped out of the sky and gave him to me!
Mommy: Haven't I told you to stop telling lies?
[Smack, sound of little girl getting slapped]

haha i'm watching now. So i'm going to see.

I guess he stayed on the farm a bit as the mother looks really old now. Mabye enough years so they are in there late 20s .

Bah we need a new superman !

went to imdb and found these tidbits:

In the beginning we see Clark who is 18 run past a train which has a young lois inside who is about 10. When Clark returns to Earth 12 years later after his journey to Krypton he would be 30 so then Lois would be 22. Not only does she look really bad for a 22 year old, but she is supposed to be the top reporter with years of experience. I don't see how that is possible for someone so young.
Any explainations?

the small scene where Lois sees Superman running was deleted from the theatrical version because Lois was supposed to be older. the filmmakers didn't realise until they had shot the scene

might answer your question.

they need to make a green lantern trilogy.

First one hal goes nuts and kills the corps . Kyle gets the ring. major force kills his gf and stuffs her in the fridge. he takes on fatality .

Second one kyle meets jade , joins the jla , fights nero and becomes ion . Gives john a ring .

Third one kyle restarts the corps and helps hal come bck as a green lantern. They both take on the spectra to save hal.

Be a great set of movies .

Okay the little girl does get slapped. Though its not the same little girl. Its a blonde . Lois was a brunette and younger .

An Iron Man movie is in progress. Supposedly Tom Cruise is tied in with the project and wants to play Tony Stark.

Hopefully if Marvel keep a tight hand on the rudder (as they have with all their recent movie scripts) it could be great.

Tom would make a great Tony Stark with some beard added, and dyeing his hair black too of course, but, ummm.... Isn't he a little short for playing a superhero?

You just film him right, or put him on a box. His lack of height didn't really matter in films like "Minority Report" or "Mission Impossible" 1 & 2, so it probably won't matter here. Besides, when he's in the suit it doesn't really matter. If you look at the last Iron Man suit (the completely integrated one), it looks to be about seven or eight feet tall anyway.

The main thing about a big name actor like Cruise is that it *guarentees* bums on seats, and so that in turn means a good budget. If Cruise in involved, he always wants to make the best films that he can, and he has the clout to make sure it happens that way. The clueless film execs can't push him around, which usually makes for a good film.
