Anyone else really annoyed with the dogs in this game? They move at right angles and at superhuman speeds, and for some reason melee'ing them just doesn't work. I hit it at the right time and it acts like I've killed the dog, but then I just fall flat and blood sprays up as if it still killed me... That happens every time.
Set in an alternate history in which World War I never ended, the game takes place in 1964, the 50th year of the war, and focuses on an Allied soldier's mission to stop the Russo-Mongolian Empire from developing nuclear weapons and his later efforts to end the war.
cartoony remember there were 2 versions of iron storm released
it came out for the pc then was ported to the ps2 then the ps2 version was ported back to the pc
no idea which version was better
thanks davros i'll check it out. sounds like a title i somehow overlooked back then (course i was just getting started with PC gameing in '02, so pretty much had the entire field of pc gaming to choose from, past and present, at that point...ah those were the days.).
anyone know if the 2nd port to pc was better or worse than the original? console-itus? (i don't like to use controllers, im a keyboard/mouse type)
