Given the samey reviews they still seem on a tight leash.

Control runs at close to 60 FPS wow.

I wonder if RT reflections at a stable 30 FPS are possible?

Yea apparently valve is saying the software isn't ready.

I'm waiting to see benchmarks on games I play. Not sure if its worth getting or waiting till the fall and maybe seeing a zen3 + rdna 2 set up in a new aya or onexplayer.

@Dictator can't wait for the Digital Foundry video on it, I am sure DF is already hard at work!

Questions I like to be answered:

    1. How long is battery life when running decently demanding games like Forza, Halo, Doom Eternal etc at 540p using 30 FPS cap, medium/low settings and lowest power mode Steam Deck offers?
    2. Of course, Raytracing. Can it run Control, Doom, Metro Enhanced Edition for example at 30 FPS at 540p, low/medium settings with atleast 1 RT effect enabled? And if so, how is battery life? How does it do in REALLY demanding titles like Dying Light 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, maybe even with 1 RT effect on?

Oh I am already so excited!

Upscale any game using Fidelity FX on steam deck.

    Ghost runner 1h08m battery life 25w native resolution 1280x800 . 985x616 Fidelity FX 1h30m

    Control 720p native 1h31m 24.1w . 540p 2h21m 15.6w with global fsr .

I do hope AMD comes out with some machine learning upscaling.

The Steam Deck most likely lacks any acceleration for it. DF covered this in their latest Direct. The next switch might.
