StarCraft:Ghost...

Have any of you seen the trailer? I downloaded it recently, and it looked quite good.

From a graphical pov, it doesn´t seem to be anything very special. The textures look kind of, I don´t know how to describe it properly...ordinary. The lighting seemed to be ok, though, and the character model looks good, although nothing mind-boogling.

What are your opinions on the trailer?

What do you mean nothing VERY special ?

It's fast, it looks good, the gameplay looks interesting from what I've been able to read about it (how well Baldur's gate seems nive gameplay wise even if, to me, it's the worst pseudo RPG ever).

The levels have the starcraft feeling, the monsters are nice (ok 3D model existed since we saw them in ingame movies).

What would you like it to do/be ?

And are graphics important at all ? (I play tetris and pacman, even if the graphics aren't really up to date)

Wow, wow, wait up. This is a graphics oriented message board...I never thought it would be wrong to discuss graphics here.

Play through some of StarCraft's story campaigns. There's a good deal of internal fighting in there too... every race has at least three factions

Sure there's nothing wrong in discussing graphics, but what you said sounded more like 'starcraft ghost isn't looking good enough', to me.

SC:G looks very good, although depending on the release date it may start to look outdated once Halo2 and DOOM3 start appearing on xbox.

The gameplay sounds very interesting. It could be really cool, or they could screw it up. Hopefully it will be a worthy addition to the Starcraft name.

Well it'll definitely look better than most PS2 games and many GCN games
