Well, these footage isn't too far off. Its a Discovery channel short documentary of great whites hunting at an island off of Capetown.

Yeah, sharks are really amazing creatures. It really comes as no real surprise that they've survived millions of years of evolution pretty much unchanged. It's pretty hard to improve on a perfect predator.

Now back to a semi-serious issue about sharks, has anybody been watching shark week? I've been, but so far I've been majorly disappointed. It would seem like they're just going for sensationalism instead of even being a little educational. Just the other day they had people trying to ride great whites, they were making little to no attempt to learn about shark behavior, they were just trying to be undersea cowboys (and cowgirls). I've just been really disappointed and feel like they're doing a lot of damage as far as what people think of sharks and how dangerous they are (or not).
