How is it compared to MAG ? Is it punishing ?

Not on Normal, have not tried on it harder levels and I am playing with the sharpshoot, have not had the time lately, but you progress decently. I expect that I could do a higher level at the same pace with the controller.

Compared to MAG, well, its easier since the opposition is not human, 99% if not all MP shooters are run n gun in my book. So dealing with NPC is also easier.
