Very good movie with beautiful and original cinemtography. It really consists of 3 (slightly) interlinked stores ('Pulp Fiction' style) and the best one is the first one with Mickey Rourke, who is perfect for the role. Elijah Wood is also good, playing brilliantly against type, as very creepy character. The film's strength and weakness is how close it resembles a comic come to life - it's a strength in that it's visually sumptious and shockingly violent but also a weakness in that the stories are shallow and the dialogue very tongue-in-cheek 'Max Payne' noir style. Well worth seeing, though. NB. Quentin Tarantino only scripts one very short sequence of the movie (though his influence does pervade it).
