Man City needs to improve their away stats. They did well at home last season, both in the premiership and in the UEFA cup, but were awful away.

They should have performed much better last season. Most teams would have gotten a lot more out of a offensive with both Robinho and Shaun Wright Phillips.

The lack of away results points to motivational problems in the squad. That is purely the manager's responsibility, so I foresee a change of manager in the coming season.

I hope that city sign adebayor as im not happy with his attude (as an arsenal fan) over the last couple of seasons and £25mill is a lot for some one that only seems to score 1 in 4.

i also want to see who city endup with in midfeild before they crack the top 6 consistantly enough to worry the top four (they still need a essen/mad masc type player).

not sure what utd are upto they still have a strong squad(but not quad winning squad)......

Italian press, claims Eto+40mill euro = Ibra deal done

If Inter get Eto'o and EUR 40 million they're laughing. Assuming Eto'o can stay fit, he'll always score more goals than Ibrahimovic.

I think so aswell. Selling Eto is crazy, he scores way to much.

Ibra has not been a consistent goal scorer. He isn't particularly fast. Great technique thought.

Diouf isn't bad, but agree that the Norway League ain't that good. Then again, Ole Gunnar came from that club too.

Mame Biram Diouf will be loaned out to Molde for the reminder of the 2009 season, and will join up with his new team mates in Manchester in January 2010.

The former United forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played for Molde before moving to Old Trafford, where he is now the reserve team manager. When Norwegian newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad spoke to Diouf about the shock move he replied "Playing for Manchester has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a small boy, I hope that when I move in January, I will have a big impact, I am confident of playing very well"
