Sega and Microsoft announce strategic alliance to create new titles for Sega in next-gen development

This has to do with Sega starting to leverage Azure in the development of games. I believe Namco announced something similar around Microsoft Game Stack this year. The pandemic started to push developers in this direction.

I've read a few comments about Japanese developers having more of a struggle during covid work from home, culturally and technologically. I assume this is Sega responding to that.
