And a rather miserable write performance otherwise. For whatever reason, all the flash media I've seen has a horrible performance dive for whenever starting a write (and I'm not talking about small write sizes where it would make sense, I'm talking megabytes), only to average out to ok speeds with large transfers. So basically any time an operation occurs on a computer, there's a horrid lag. It's different than a slow hard drive which is just always sluggish, this is fast then complete freeze, fast, then freeze, and so forth.
