S3 Graphics announced the desktop versions of the DeltaChrome today. I'm starting to wonder if it just might be... *gasp* good!

oh well, they propably will screw up on delivering final product. I just can't believe that 3rd player could be coming on the stage...

in matter of fact, you wasn't the first one... after The Avalanche failure, started Pryde say that Bitboys were cursed... after we saw results of Parhelia, it was pretty obious that Bitboys wasn't cursed... it was me who was and I made a public note about that to Pryde here. So, most likely I have stated that first time by myself. you most likely was the first one to use it. (without counting myself.)

And what's so good about this press-release?

IMHO S3 and SiS put Nvidia to shame with this Paper-Launching of new DX9-cards. Both companies will release their cards only in Autumn 2003. SiS said to c't they will start to produce the cards in August and S3 talks about Autumn. So put this press-releases firmly into the bin and wait for real products to come.
