Depends on the cards available at the time of course, as well as the final specs of the headsets.I guess that huge resolution wouldn't make sense on a console, so Valve/HTC developed a VR headset that will need a powerful PC to be fully taken advantage of.

Given what AMD and nVidia is likely to bring to the table on 28nm, I'm assuming their 14/16nm FinFet products will perform quite well even as singles. So I'm likely to test with my current setup, upgrade to the most appetizing product at the new lithographic node, and if that proves tasty....
