should have named it the Okamah Gamesphere
My assocations went to Mr Herman as well. Leaves kind of a bad taste in the mouth. I wonder if Nintendo wants to exploit the paedophile market, probably not a very good move.....<nu>faust said:nintendo poetry competition winner mr.pee wee herman's masterpeice " nintendo and you"
I'm with him.Titanio said:I don't know. The more I think about it, the more I think it may elicit curiousity in the product certainly among the wider market, beyond what's normal for a Nintendo system. I think the key for Nintendo is to ensure that that product, and the communication of that product, is effective enough to get people past the initial humor/novelty of the name, and get people to think "that actually sounds really cool" (the product, not the name) and to want to try it.
It will generate curiousity and attention. How they communicate the product beyond the name will be important.
(And yes, I'll be getting one regardless. They could call it WorstGameConsoleEver and I'd still buy it ).
Seconded. I dislike the name alot. I think they should've stuck with Nintendo GO. Sounded better both east and west.Guden Oden said:I'll still buy the console, but it will nag and annoy me FOREVER that it carries such a sucky name, I just know it.

(Told to about 10 people)

Again, it may sound a little bit of a line, but I think it fits well. This is not about you or me, it’s about Wii.

Once you touch the Revolution, this will make more sense. Once you play more games, and once the system is out, and more and more people play it, and you’re realizing these different experiences, it’ll make more sense. Again, it may sound a little bit of a line, but I think it fits well. This is not about you or me, it’s about Wii.
