 The key must lie on some desk around the office, or it might be a keycard carried by some guard. You should know how to get the key!
I think you can open the door with the red eagle key. Insert it into the secret keyhole that is revealed when you turn the water cooler in level 1F coffeeroom, the door in level 4B should open then revealing the PS3 devkit!
...Err, no. The room where is the PS3 TOOL is guarded by a boss that can only be defeated by usind an RPG-7.
RPG-7 that you have to find in the lead programmer cubicle in the east-B building, it's hidden in his mini-fridge, behind the Oreo cones.
In order to open the mini-fridge you need to put back, two 184.8 carats diamonds, in the mainhall fountain.

/Old school Resident Evil-kind of puzzles are nuts!
You know I swore that was a reference to Space Quest II where you are running around in the programmers place for Scummware till that last part.

The funny part is that the main planet in SQ is named... Xenon (IIRC).

So we can safely deduce that everything in the videogame universe is connected.

That also remind me that I never played SQ 4-7, were they any good?
And do they work on DOSbox?

Yep work in Dosbox.
Thanks for the info, Colourless.
I found a fansite where the now abandonware SQ can be downloaded.

http://www.spacequest.net/

I also found that SQ7 was scrapped...
Damn, I remember reading news, about the soon to be release game, in the magazines a few years ago...

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, we supposedly have a PS3 devkit at work now. It's under lock and key so I haven't seen it myself.

So I stopped by work today to go to lunch with some of the guys. It was confirmed to me that we have a PS3 devkit (apparently 1 of only 20 in the states) but I didn't stop to take a look at it. I was told it looks like a big microwave without a door. I myself have no clue what that means but I'll take a look once I get back from my vacation. I'm sure others here can confirm or clarify what it looks like.

That is good news Ty! That means PS Devs will have about a 21mo lead time to the US release if it comes fall 2006 in the states. That should mean some decent games. Good news!

Uh maybe it's just me but I thought this thread was is about Revolution dev kits...

It was such a minor piece of information I didn't think it warranted a new thread. /shrug.

Who knows what Revolution is. It might be the next Nintendo console, or it might be the piggybank shaped next xbox, or it might refer to the "revolutionary" Cell processor inside PS3.
