Revolution devkit?

Saw this first on Engadget. Looks kinda fake, but...

That looks very fake to me. But we'll know for sure if the pic is taken off the site....

Fake.

This pic was used as being a prototype of the Revolution. And now, as you can see, it's being used as a "RAEL PICS TOOK BY MY UNCLE WHO WORKS FOR NITENDO JAPAN" of a DevKit.... well...

BTW, using a cheapass MAG LCD screen for your developement doesn't sound really good either.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, we supposedly have a PS3 devkit at work now. It's under lock and key so I haven't seen it myself.

Definitely appears quite fake, & on the Nintendo boards no less. Anyone have these supposed leaked "specs" he gave a few weeks back?

Can I be so bold as to ask where you work?

 The key must lie on some desk around the office, or it might be a keycard carried by some guard. You should know how to get the key!
I think you can open the door with the red eagle key. Insert it into the secret keyhole that is revealed when you turn the water cooler in level 1F coffeeroom, the door in level 4B should open then revealing the PS3 devkit!

Oh I can get in to look at it no problem. I just forgot to ask about it. /shrug I'll have to do that when I get back from vacation though. Again, we supposedly have one but I haven't seen it with my own eyes so I'll post back when I find out for sure.

I really don't know what it is exactly. We've had it for a bit of time but it was at a different location than where I work out of. It got moved over because locally we're starting work on a PS3 project soon (well some work has been done but we haven't started full bore yet).

...Err, no. The room where is the PS3 TOOL is guarded by a boss that can only be defeated by usind an RPG-7.
RPG-7 that you have to find in the lead programmer cubicle in the east-B building, it's hidden in his mini-fridge, behind the Oreo cones.
In order to open the mini-fridge you need to put back, two 184.8 carats diamonds, in the mainhall fountain.

/Old school Resident Evil-kind of puzzles are nuts!

Anyway, Ty, it would be cool, if you could tell us (After your vacation) if this PS3 TOOL is some software tools (compiler, interpreter for Cell only...).
Because I also heard that SCE send "something", but I'm also quasi certain that it was only rudimentary software tools.
If your company got something hardware related...

1.5 V and 46 degC CPU... isn't that a bit lame?

And that 'Revolution Sphere' isn't even 'Round'...meh...has no textures and is aliased as f@ck...

So it could be real! :p
