From what I can understand from their chinese ( I don't know a bit of that language ) , it seems that the cards will use a 9500 Pro setup for the memory chips .
The thing is that the memory will be very cheap : TSOP 3.6 NS memory will be used instead of the curent high speed BGA chips .
The speeds will probably be the same as Radeon 9500 Pro : 275/550 but the cards will be powered by a full fledged R350 .
What's wonderfull is that the VPU will probably go easily @ 400 Mhz and the memory will get at least 600 Mhz DDR .
The price range should be up to 249 $ ERP .
I wonder why ATi is bringing such a solution to the market ... is it because the stock of R300 based cards is runing out ?
Is it because they have a surplus of R350 VPUs ... ?
