I've read tons of info about that and the prospects seem very exciting!
While a ton of info can be concluded from the material i've laid my eyes on, it's still unclear to me what are the main advantage of quantum computers compared to the pc's of today and in what way will they show themselves?
The latest bits of info i've read about this is that NEC researchers were able to physically connect two QBits together (the news bit said that it's very important for future progress, as it's the first time two QBits were physically connected together).
While it's a great progressions towards realizing the ultimate goal, NEC said a fully funcitonal quantum computing chip is still quite some time away... 2020 as they said.
So what do u guys think?
