Q&A: Nihilistic's Huebner, Cooke Talk PS3, X360 Dev Ease

But 360 and PS3, they're individual personalities, and it has to be said that the PS3 requires a bit more handholding sometimes. You've got to beat it around a little more to get what you want out of it, but ultimately you can make a game that's going to look good on both, without having to add a year to your development time. So that's good for the industry, and it's good for us.

They seem pretty enthusiastic about both platforms.

Not a very good read. Personally they sound like politicians and professionally they have the Starcraft Ghost debacle under their belts and a bunch of old PC games. Ghost is a sad story of hype gone wrong. Jedi knight 2 was a great game almost 10 years ago. Decent was rad when i was in high school watching 90210.

Actually they seem enthusiastic about all 3 platforms. ;)

Nothing really interesting in this interview, they are like the 20th multiplatform-developer to state that 360 and PS3 are rather similar systems to work with (compared to Xbox vs. PS2) and similarly capable, that the 360 has the better tools but Sony is catching up, its more difficult to get Cell up to speed but they're getting there, etc. ... I'd prefer to hear about what they're working on.

Yeah i mean, how many more of these articles do we really need on here?

We get it, they're similar, PS3 needs a bit more work to get things done, blah blah blah...
