PSP concept model, The REAL deal.

I say, bring on the big handhelds. I'm sick of these tiny little things you can't get your hands around. Even the original GBA felt uncomfortable for me. The SP was way too damn small. I would be in favor of a Gamegear sized device, if that meant getting decent controls out of it.

PSP takes up the volume of a portable CD player. If people can carry their CD players for ages, i guess PSP is quite alright.

Another thing of concern, i hope the price dont match that of a high end CD player.

I don´t like to post screenshots directly because there´s still guys like me still on a 56k :), but here are some size comparisons between PSP and other devices.

It´s only a bit larger than the original GBA, and no one complained about that one, so I think it´s great.

Also, IMO, a bigger handheld device is actually really good for a thing such as PSP. Consider this: you have this powerfull device that can produce graphics comparable to PS2´s (and better than it in some cases), why would you want a small screen that wouldn´t allow you to see the detail. This size is perfect IMO, not too big, and definitely not too small.

Those buttons, though, need to be rethought. Of course, I haven´t used it yet, so I might be wrong, but they don´t look so ergonomic.
