Man this is BS. That video on the X360 version looks WAAAAAAY to bright. Why are they making the character so so bright. I call this extreme bloom of the next generation. The models look good but WAY to bright.

They may be primarily developing for pc, but that shit is still gorgeous for both consoles.

I'm pretty psyched that the the x360 video looks identical to every last bit of the other media coming out- really starting to prove that neither system is really inferior to the other.

Wouldn't it be cool if PS3 UT2007 could play with X360 UT2007? Ah, I can dream.

Hey I'm sorry to tell you but Madden on Xbox looks like Madden on the PS2. Multiplatform games never show the system true power.

I think he means in rendering quality, even with madden on the xbox it's a tad bit clearer and no texture shimmering or atleast not as much, where the cross platform games being shown now are the basicly the exact quality

It's not been talked about much but I distinctly remember reading that allowing LIVE players to interact with PC players online in game was a possibility with the new 360 LIVE.

I'll look for a link

This is what Square-Enix is doing with the Final Fantasy MMO.

You are out of your mind if you think console FPS players should be playing PC FPS players.

A typical KB/MS PC player would own an entire group of console gamepad players... and lets not even talk about your good "1337" FPS players. Basically, it would be equivalent to this:

30 Hornets take on 30,000 bees

Yeah, NOT PRETTY FOLKS!

EA have also done it with NFS:U. And it kinda suffer similarly with what you say regarding FPS. Only this time, it's the other way around (though not as significant as FPS).

So I don't think MS could use or tout it for their Live marketing.

Well, not always. There are true multi-plat games that takes advantage of the hardware [graphically] they are running on. A good example would be the Splinter Cell sequels. And in some case, it also affect the gameplay because of those limits. Please note when I say "true" multi-plat, I mean games that are multi-plat from the beginning. Not exclusives downgraded...er, I mean ported later on (RE4, Splinter Cell, among others).

Why should the PS3 be limited to 16:9.
Even moreso the PS3 devkits, the only real "PS3" at the moment - wouldnt be surprised if all devs use casual PC-Monitors.
Check your Windows settings to see if you can find 1280x720. I'm sure you will. Also check out cheap ass Dell WXGA monitors
