as much as I'd like Apple to collaborate with Sony on the PS3, it ain't gonna happen.
This ad is for someone to work with audio-libraries, and audio-work is often done on Macs. And since Apple has PPC-cpu's there might be some added benefits on working on a Mac. Making custom audio-tools for/in OS X to develop sound effects for PS3-games and stuff like that is what I figure these guys will be doing.
It would be awesome if they outsourced the GUI-work to Apple though.

Discounts.... yum.... But the holidays thing is crap!!! i got 25 days straight away when starting my new job! and that's paid leave, time off, without counting sick days and all.... Strange how you guys have to little...

Most jobs start you off with 10 days and you can build up. Each year you stay with the same employer, you accrue more days per year. 160 hours of vacation a year usually goes to someone who's been with the company 5 years or more.
This is probably the price for the economic strength of the US, everyone has to work his ass off

It's kinda strange that sick days count as vacation time though What if you brake your leg and cant go to work for 4 weeks? Here you will be fully paid (or 80% after a certin amount of days/weeks) for the whole time and still got your vacation time (usually 4 weeks) You can't be fired because of that either.

I've been with my company for several years and this year I've gained the right to no less than 30 vacation days. But, seeing as my work is related to international stock markets and there is always one major market open somewhere even on major international holidays, I have hardly any automatic holiday days at all. I only get easter and the 1st day of Christmas (unless that happens to be a weekend anyway like this year).

If you break your leg or something, that's what STD is for (Short Term Disability).

Zurich is in Canada by the way...
If i break a leg, not only it comes off my "sick days" (which are limitless) but i also get private medical insurance YAY!
