I heard for the Power VR5 series the tech demo is going to be a fat hairy guy with a beer gut and flies flying around him because the card is so awesome that they don't need any sexy chick to entice customer. But hey its just rumour :p

Kristof gained weight? ......

Ok, I confes it is me!
My lardy 83Kg is being digitized as we speak. We had the choice of me, or Monica Belucci, but as it was judged by a pie eating contest I won. :)

Yes, reeeally. ATi will be almost the only company not to support SM3.0 with upcoming chips.

Pray tell me then, who else is coming out with SM3.0 silicon this year, huh?
3DLabs. Although they probably qualify for SM4.0 already.

btw, we currently have 7(+1) companies in the PC graphics market: ATI, NVidia, Intel, S3, XGI, Matrox, 3DLabs, and PowerVR which have no current product.

One has a SM3.0 part ready.
One has "officially" announced that their next part will be SM3.0
One has "officially" announced that their next part will have "no boundaries".
One keeps quiet.
One has "inofficially" announced that their next-next part will be SM3.0.
One has "inofficially" announced that they want to skip SM3.0 and go directly to SM4.0.
One is rumored to have SM3.0 technology.
One doesn't care about high-end.

Xmas,
Your post sounds like a logic puzzle.... company A is in a building with a green door....

If wasn't for the now infamous "Fenny chocolate swoop/manouver" you'd be a lot worse than that...

It's my public duty to make sure the chairs in their office don't get overly stressed.

Reminds me of when I was trying to arrange a wrestling match with nvidia back in my S3 days.

The fact that the three of us on that conference were pulling over 350 kilos is both part of the reason they refused and part of the reason I started getting to the gym more regularly.

As well as us three there was £300 of beer and two computers in my car on the way down. It was not happy.

Eeee them were't days.
