I hope it stinks when it comes out, just to see the looks on all your faces
How are you going to see the look on anyone's face here?... think about it genius

Pray tell me then, who else is coming out with SM3.0 silicon this year, huh?

Nobody even mentioned that before him

If it does, where will that leave ATi and the R42x series?
I'd say that when the featureset gets revealed, I'd be rather asking the second question for another IHV.
Why? If both nVidia and PVR support SM3.0, but ATi doesn't, guess who the odd man out is...
That's your perspective; I have something entirely different in mind. Of course am I not going to elaborate on it.

SM2.0 is more like PS1.1 because it represents a baseline, a lowest common denominator for DX9 cards, if you wish.
It's actually SM3.0 that's sort-of an inbetween standard - more than PS2.0, but nowhere near SM4.
Oh, I skipped this beauty :
I believe the same will happen with Sm3.0 thanks to X-Box2 support and lots of pc hardware support
Reeeally?

As much as i'd like to see a PowerVR5 going final and retail to consumers i'm wondering how long has the rumour been going that it's been in dev? 2 years seems to be a standard dev time now unless you got loads of resources to spare :/
And if the card is a TBDR as some people hope (which i don't really understand the benefit of), doesn't that mean that the card should be able to match the NV40 / R420 with say 80% of their specs considering if they got the tech that is.
