I wouldn't suggest that any of the so far licensees intends to use a single core 5XT config. Assuming a 2MP at 400MHz would mean 4x times the fill-rates (texel, pixel and z/stencil), but thanks to co-issue per ALU arithmetic throughput should be significantly higher than by a factor of 4x. Tri/setup rate should be a lot lower than 4x.

Depends if Intel are targetting Medfield SOLEY at smartphones, or have other areas in mind. If ONLY smartphones then there is probably no need to have the DX9 stuff in there, in which case 543 might be more efficient/smaller than 544.
