Please help with Filezilla Server and WinXP Firewall

I finally want to set up my own ftp server and everything is working as it should except that when the integrated Windows firewall is activated, no one from outside can access my server, although I added Filezilla Server to the exceptions list.
Also I am a little confused by the passive mode settings. Do I need to change something there and if yes, what?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Windows Firewall -> Advanced -> (Network Connection Settings) Advanced ->

Now configure ICMP and Services.
The stuff there is explained.

First, thanks for your answer. In the advanced network connection settings, which should I work with: My DSL dial-up connection or the network card it is going through?
