PES 2008 is 1 vs 1
FIFA 08 is 5 vs 5 which is very fun from what I have heard.

Maybe I'll get FIFA08 for the 360 when it hits the used rack. If my friend comes through with the 360 today, I'm going to get NHL08 right away.

With the latest update NHL2008 supports 6v6 online.

I used to play 04 with a crack that allowed 6vs6 online. Some of the best moments I've had in my gaming history. In my opinion NHLs online has been broken since 04 because you could only play 1vs1 in 05, 06, 07(?).

I'd seen 2 player and assumed it was coop. You're right - the key point to this games IMO is the best cooperative gameplay of any genre out there. Everyone's involved at the same time working to the same goal. This could be a great little solo footy game but the absence cooperative play loses PES's charm and ironically goes against the idea of social gaming, something football has spearheaded!

I don't bother with co-op in PES personally. To me the key point of PES is simply the best Football experience around, I always prefer to beat my friends rather then pass to them Got this ordered and I'm really looking forward to playing it!
