PC Gaming Market breakdown or something *spawn*

Circana data shows that nearly 40% of console playtime in January was spent on the top 10 live-service games, while PC charts featured a broader mix of RPGs, strategy, and indie titles, highlighting key differences in gaming preferences.

That honestly doesn't surprise me, PC gaming has always been more diverse than console gaming.

It's both a limitation of the hardware and limitation of the controller. Some game genres just don't work well on consoles. Games with lots of control inputs and use of hotkey functions just don't translate well to gamepads. Baldurs Gate 3 is much harder to play on a console than a PC due to the loss of hotkeys as an example. Many PC RTS games would be near impossible on a gamepad. There's just more diversity of controller and gameplay options on the PC. Always has been.
