PC drivers for the eye toy?

Hi, I just bought a PS2 with the eye toy camera. Great fun, though you do look like a complete pillock flapping your arms around in front of the TV!

I then plugged the camera into my laptop and it recognised it as a Logitech Eye Toy camera, but there are no drivers for it on the Logitech site and the Omnivision drivers don't work. Does anybody know if there are any drivers for it floating around on the world wide wait?

...and no, I'm not aware of any PC drivers for it.

as far as I know, it doesn't work on PC (no drivers) same as no pc webcam works on the ps2 with the game.

I remember seeing in several mags a Creative Plus webcam (I own one, so it is familiar) was being used when Eye Toy was in development. It was even said (by mags, not necessarily by Sony or devs), that eventually you'd be able to use ant usb webscam.
I tried my Creative cam on PS2 + EyeToy games, but it did not work.

Thanks for the responses! I'd kind of guessed that there wouldn't be any specific drivers. The internals are made by omni... something, I forget now and they have a whole host of drivers but, of course, they don't recognise the eye toy.

I'm sitting in stone built cottage in the middle of snowdonia (north wales) where we barely have electricity never mind broadband . But I do have fine views of dolwyddelan castle and the lledr valley, my own river and 100% peace and quiet. So at least I have something to look at whilst I'm waiting for the web
